Boolean Search Techniques

  •  using the " - " does not work ( does not take away the word )
  •  using " and " works ( ex. water and melon )
  •  if you put " or " , it gives you results for both words ( ex. pepperoni or pizza )
  •  putting quotations around your phrase gives you the exact wording in your results
  •  You can put " + " sign in your search but it is not required
  •  You can use " link: " followed by your search to see all the links similar to your search
  •  using " host: " infront of your search will allow you to see al the links that are attached to your search
  • Putting " intitle: " infront of your search will give you results with your search name in them all ( ex. intitle: chocolate ... i will get all the result with chocolate in there tilte )
  • if you put " inurl: " infrotn of your search, it will give you most of the results with that in there URL ( ex. inurl:cookie... i will get something like www.national-cookie-network.com/
